Vacation is over and it's been a whirl-wind of activity! We spent over $300 in gas and traveled to see family in 3 different states! There was definitely a lot of driving involved and Jordyn was such a good girl. She rarely fussed while in the car which was wonderful. She did have a hard time the night after a big trip though because she had spent her whole day sleeping and so didn't want to sleep again at night. There were also days when she didn't want anyone to touch her or look at her because she was just so overwhelmed by all the new voices and faces but all in all we had a great trip.
PENNSYLVANIA: 12/21-12/24
The first stop was in PA to visit my grandparents, aunts & uncles, and cousins. It was a lot of fun. We had two big dinners togethers, opened presents, played games and ate tons of christmas cookies and candy.
New York: 12/24-12/26We stopped in NY next so that we wouldn't have to travel 10 hours to Maine. We celebrated Christmas with my parents & siblings on the 24th and went to visit my other set of grandparents on Christmas day. Jordyn wasn't all that great and spent a lot of time in her room sleeping and crying but she did have some fun time. Her favorite present is her glowworm (shown above) that she got from Uncle Aaron and Uncle Garrett.
MAINE: 12/26-12/31Next we were off to Maine for a very relaxing 5 days. We opened even more presents! Wayne and I were able to go to a movie by ourselves which was wonderful. We also visited friends of Waynes from college and got to meet their new daughter.
New York again: 12/31-1/5
We stopped back in NY before traveling home. It was a great time to visit friends that we hadn't seen in a long time. Wayne was able to visit TCA and see his old co-workers and we were both able to catch up with friends at our New Years Eve party. It was a fun time filled with lots of puzzles but we were definitely ready to go home.
